The staff at the Governor's Office of Homeland Security are working hard to ensure that they are ready at work and at home. Jane Sanders and family spent the weekend ensuring that all humans and animals are prepared for a disaster. The kitties were introduced to B Ready #98 and were excited to discuss their emergency plan. All household members are now ready for any disaster that may come their way!!

Cats are always alert and ready to respond to danger, but they don't have the ability to prepare for emergencies. What if you are sick or snowed in and can't leave your house for awhile? Do you have extra food and water for your cat as well as for you? What if you have to evacuate your home and go to a shelter? Do you have a workable evacuation plan that includes your cat?

Cats don't really have nine lives. They have one life, and they rely on you to make it a long and healthy one. Please develop an emergency plan for all members your family, including your cat!
