Webinars on Community Animal Response

Community Animal Response Teams (CART) are developing throughout much of Colorado. By volunteering in your own community, you help create a network of resources that will allow emergency managers to deal with a variety of animal issues in community emergencies. CART programs involve both paid personnel and volunteers, including emergency managers, animal control officers, cooperative extension personnel, veterinary professionals, livestock groups, animal shelter personnel, law enforcement, wildlife officers, fire, EMS, public health, and concerned citizen volunteers.

The Animal Emergency Management Program at the Colorado Veterinary Medical Foundation offers webinar training for participation in and developing a CART in your community.  For more information, contact deborahcolburn@cvmf.org or visit our website.
